Hi! I’m Chris, owner and founder of zootopiasitter.com. I wanted to introduce myself and welcome everyone!
I love animals and have been caring for them my entire life and finally retired from corporate life to follow my passion for animals In a way that I can help others!
I have my own menagerie of pets and I have had to hire a pet sitter from time to time but was never really happy with the options out there that I found…I would be away with my family and have that constant worry, that low-key panic about my pets at home… is the sitter coming? Is everyone ok at home? Did they eat? Anyone mis-behaving? I didn’t want to just hear from the sitter I hired when there was an emergency… I wanted daily updates…I wanted more! I just was never totally relaxed and constantly checking in on my video cameras at home… I wanted to create something better, i wanted to know my pets were being cared for...this worry while I was supposed to be relaxing and enjoying time away with my family was not working. I wanted to create a more transparent pet sitting experience for my clients…something that I could not find out there…SO I DID! !
I designed a system that I call DTC (Daily Transparent Communication) and I am proud to offer “Daily Transparent Communication” with photos, videos and text messaging when I am at your home and it has been an overwhelming hit with my clients!

My 40+ years of experience bring skill and passion to every client, no matter the size, situation or how many pets you have! I am going to send daily pics and video, letting you know your pets are being walked, fed, watered and that they are behaving normally…and guess what? If they are sick or off… I am taking them to your vet! I have not, to this day, had a client tell me to stop sending pics of my pet…it’s what I expect when I’m away from my own pets and I am proud to be able to offer this to all my clients.
